Obituary for Paul E. Wasson Sr.

Paul E. Wasson Sr. passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2019, at the age of 95. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Cheryl. He is also survived by his children, Pauletta McKivens, Edwina Taylor, Jennifer Duncan and Paul Wasson Jr.; grandchildren, Monica Bass, Michael McKivens, Danny Duncan, Alexis and Giovanni Wasson; four great- grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 3 to 7 pm at Nie Family Funeral Home (2400 Carpenter Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48108). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 with the family hour at 11 am and the service at 12 pm noon at the Second Baptist Church (301 S. Hamilton, Ypsilanti, MI 48197).In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Baptist Church College Scholarship Fund (301 S Hamilton St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197) or the Alzheimer's Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter (564 S. Main St. Suite 200, Ann Arbor, MI 48104).
