Obituary for Hazel Spears

Hazel Dorrine Spears passed away September 15, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born December 11, 1927 in Hallam, Nebraska to Henry and Stella Cramer. She married Wayne E. Spears in Ann Arbor in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, son Larry, parents, brother and sisters. Surviving her are her children Rick (Patty) Spears of Scottsdale, AZ, Sandi (Mark) Bedolla of Surprise, AZ, Julie (Rob) Armbruster of Dexter, MI, Jim Spears of Whitmore Lake, MI, Carol (Doug) Keeton of Ft. Meyers, FL, Steve (Sandy) Spears of Mesa, AZ, as well as her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a four decades-long employee of Seyfried Jewelers on Main St. in Ann Arbor, first for the Seyfried family and then for the Hart brothers. Later, you could find her at Georgetown Gifts greeting her long time customers and friends. Burial has taken place in Fairview Cemetery in Ann Arbor. Private services are in the care of Nie Funeral Home.
