Obituary for Gary Kenneth Snarski

Gary Kenneth Snarski, age 68, of Belleville, Michigan, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2019. Gary was born on June 28, 1951 in Hamtramck, Michigan to parents Leonard and Sophie (Spiek) Snarski. He was raised in Hamtramck with his two brothers, Alan and Jimmy. He graduated from Hamtramck High School in 1969 and enlisted in the United States Army in 1970. Gary spent two years serving the country and was a very proud veteran.

Gary loved every minute of being a realtor and was proud of his Century 21 business on Main Street that he operated for over 20 years. He found true joy in helping people hunt for the perfect home for their family. He remained active in the Belleville community and was on various committees including the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, Central Business Community (CBC), and the Downtown Development Association (DDA).

Gary enjoyed travels with friends on yearly cruise trips, playing golf, and was always the life of the party.

He is survived by his daughter, Janelle Infurna; two grandsons, Logan and Jett Infurna; brothers, Alan (Julie) and Jimmy Snarski; as well as many loving friends.

A memorial service will be held for Gary at his favorite local "watering hole," Johnny's on the Lake Bar & Grill, 146 High St., Belleville, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2 pm. Honors will follow at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to the VFW PLAV Post 4434, 44170 Bemis Road, Belleville, Michigan 48111.
